If I had a half dozen apples I’d have 6 apples.
If I had a dozen books I’d have 12 books.
If I had a bakers dozen rolls I’d have 13 rolls.
If I had a Googol (1 with a hundred zeros after it) of something I’d have … a lot of them.
The name “Google” originated from a common misspelling of the word “googol” by the way.
And a Googolplex (10 to the power of a googol) would be:
And if I had a mole of something I’d have 602214179000000000000000 (6.023 x 10 to the power of 23) of them. This last one is called the Avogadro constant and is the number of atoms in 12 grams of carbon. That is a lot of atoms in only 12 grams of something!
